If I may give you some advice: you could work on composition. SInce you are a film photographer how about this: Buy a CHEAP Used digital- and use it to "test" your shots- before actually taking them with the good equipment. When I was using film I was always too cautious and never got any really good shots... cause I was too cautious. That there is the advantage of digital- although medium / large format films is EONS beyond the quality of digital still....
